NSW: One dead, one in critical condition from cycling accident
One person's dead and another's fighting for his life in hospital .. after a car hit
a group of cyclists near Newcastle.
The group was cycling at Blacksmiths when the car struck the group about 6.45am (AEDT).
A 33-year-old man was in cardiac arrest when emergency crews transported him to John
Hunter Hospital.
Another cyclist .. yet to be identified .. died at the scene.
A third cyclist was treated for minor injuries.
