Qld: Man faces two rape allegations
A 60-year-old man's faced court over allegations he raped and drugged a disabilitypensioner within a month of raping another woman.
The man's been refused bail in Brisbane's Magistrates Court, after police argued he'san unacceptable risk of committing another sex attack.
The court's been told the man raped a 30-year-old woman after the pair went to a hotelon the Gold Coast on November 6.
The woman alleges she was given Serapax by the man, and that she tried physically andverbally to fight off the alleged attack.
The man was arrested yesterday.
Police have laid a further charge today after another woman complained she was rapedby the man at Ipswich on December 6.
He's been remanded in custody to await a committal mention on February 24 next year.
